  • Wedding Photos – The Vows & After the Vows – Part 2

    Good Morning, Friends!

Today, I’m going to share Part 2 of our wedding photos.. don’t worry, there’s only one part left (Part 3)!

For our ceremony, Mike and I did the tying of the knot ceremony. This is where our Rev. talks about the significance of marriage and wraps a personalized ribbon around our hands and ties it together. Mike and I also said our own vows, which I totally recommend doing!

To continue, after the ceremony, we had a little harvest drink table set-up. Our bartenders served champagne and lemon water to our guests to toast our marriage and to sip on while they waited to get shuttled back to cocktail hour.

Our cocktail hour consisted of 2 of our favourite things, charcuterie boards and signature drinks. Our “His” drink was a Moscow Mule served in a copper mug and our “Her” drink was a Gin Fizz served in a mason jar.

For cocktail hour music, we had more live music with an additional band member.

For the reception, we had dinner and dancing across the bridge in the tent.

For tent decor, we went very minimal! For the tables, I went with a mix of long harvest tables, and round tables. My bridesmaid put together a beautiful mix of greens to create a garland for each harvest table. I then ran vintage candleholders with black candlesticks through the garland. The round tables, had a beautiful flower arrangement, paired with the candlesticks and a table number.

The table numbers were beautiful lucite numbers, ordered from Etsy. (These are For Sale if anyone wants them! – There are 12 Numbers.)

For additional table decor, each guest had a wooden name tag, a menu card and a wedding favour. Our favour was a cement pot with a succulent that Mike and I made. They were so cute! The wooden name tags were also from Etsy!

Next week, I will be sharing the final part of our wedding photos. The next photos show more decor, dancing and laughs!
