As I slowly decorate our Cape Cod Inspired home for Christmas, I have been debating on how I want to decorate our black wall for the season. After many trial and error options, I have finally designed a simple, but festive gallery wall. YAY!
As you all know, I have always had a love for vintage windows and doors. So, I have decided to take some of my favourite windows and add them to our picture ledge. Once I had the window layout the way I wanted, I hung a bead garland throughout the windows. To do this, I just hammered in white finishing nails to each corner of the windows and attached the garland to the nails.
In the middle of the picture ledge wall, Mike hung a wooden deer head that I bought last year at Home Sense.
I love how simple but festive this wall turned out! These picture ledges are so fun to style for each season.
In the new year, I plan on making a headboard out of these windows! I can’t wait to get that project started, but for now we will continue with all things holiday!
All the windows on the ledge are purchased from antique shops and flea markets.
