  • Our Christmas Tree

    Hi Friends!

Today, I am sharing our living room Christmas Tree! This post is sponsored by Wayfair Canada and you can purchase it here.

Our beautiful flocked Christmas Tree is 9ft tall and came pre-lit! Two of my favourite things about this tree is that #1, its tall and thin, which allows it to take up minimal space (no bigger than the trunk that I had here) and #2, it looks like it was just covered in snow! With that said, to add to the snow covered look, I pushed down all the branches as the snow would do, and to help make the tree look more full!

To decorate, I used a Merry Christmas Ribbon that I purchased from Michaels and an arrangement of gold, white, silver and red bulbs and ornaments. Majority of these ornaments are from Canadian Tire, HomeSense, Target, Michaels and Urban Barn that I have purchased over the years.

To hide the tree’s base, I usually use my wicker collar, but it was too small for this tree. Instead, I used my favourite throw blanket that I purchased from Target and wrapped it around the base and showing wires.

Beside each side of the tree, I nestled each of our accent chairs around and added some gifts to the floor. I then added a throw, lamp and pillow to the chairs to invite guests to sit next to the tree.  Mike and I spend a lot of time in this area, cuddled up by the fire watching Christmas movies and admiring our Christmas tree! We are super happy with our tree and excited to surround our family around it Christmas day!
