  • Beauti-Tone Shiplap Headboard & Bedside Tables

    Hi Friends!

As many of you know, I have been working away on refreshing our guest bedroom….. and I have had the pleasure to work with Home Hardware to help update this space! Eek.. I’m so excited to share this room and how painting a piece of furniture or two… can totally transform any space!

For this project, I painted our shiplap headboard White Knight (SC136-0) by Beauti-Tone and our bedside tables Black (1880-440) also by Beauti-Tone. I used the Beauti-Tone Designer Series Cabinet & Furniture Pearl Interior paint to refresh both the bedside tables and headboard…..and let me tell you… the Beauti-Tone Designer Series Paint designer is the bomb.com!!!! I LOVE how luxurious and beautiful the paint coverage is. This paint collection gives these pieces such a chic and professional look!

To paint the shiplap headboard, first I sanded, and then used a small paint brush to paint the cracks in-between the shiplap. Next, I used a small roller to roll the rest of the headboard. I did 3 coats and got total coverage!

To paint the bedside tables, I sanded first, and then used a small roller to roll both tables. I did 3 coats and received full coverage. Once the paint was dry, I added two brass drawer knobs that I found at my local Home Hardware. These brass knobs are a staple in #ourcapecodhome as I use them on every dresser drawer or cupboard door!
