I can’t believe Canada Day is this weekend!! Is it just me… or did June go by sooo fast?!
Anyways, Mike and I are staying local this weekend and I thought it would be fun to decorate our front porch in honour of Canada Day!
Okay friends, I didn’t go crazy with the decor… I just used whatever I had had laying around the garage and some Canada Day items that I have bought over the years.
To create our patriotic front porch, I wanted to make it feels nice and cozy. So, I added two hanging and two potted ferns. I then added two wicker chairs and some pillows with pops of red! Next, I added two white lanterns, a Canadian flag hanger to the door and a flag to each potted fern.
To add to the cozy vibes, I layered two different door mats together. The bottom mat is a dark woven style and the top mat is smaller style with pops of red. And lastly, I created a 10 shades of red banner using paint chips and twine, and placed it above the doorway!
I hope this easy but adorable Canada Day front porch decor inspires you to decorate for Canada Day and I hope enjoys their long weekend!
