Hey Friends! I hope you enjoyed the kitchen and powder room reveal of the Uxbridge Model Home Modern Farmhouse! If you didn’t get a chance to check it out, you can here.
Okay, next up is the living room reveal. As mentioned before, the living room built-ins I had originally designed were suppose to be a light grey, Metropolitan by Benjamin Moore to be exact. But, the cabinet maker painted them the same colour as the kitchen cabinets. With that said, we decided to move forward with the dark cabinet colour and to just go with it.
While continuing to work with the modern farmhouse vibes, I wanted to add shiplap, brick and a white mantel to the fireplace.
The living room walls, mantel and shiplap are painted Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore. The veneer brick around the fireplace insert is a dark red brick with a white wash. To do the white wash, I watered down a cup of Chantilly lace paint and applied a light coat using a paint brush to the brick.
To style the living room, I added in lots of plants, textures, pillows, natural pieces and a pattern rug. You can shop it all below.
This is the mood board I created for the living room.
