Hi Friends! Have you started decorating for the holidays yet? Do you usually decorate your homes exterior too? Well, we do both!
I wanted to share with you, along with 3 other creative bloggers how we are decking the (exterior) halls this season! Make sure you’re following my Instagram Stories to see what blogger is up next! You can follow my Instagram here.
This year, I went with a more modern vibe and I’m totally diggin it! I wanted to go simple but festive at the same time.
To create this modern holiday style, I used all natural elements and made everything myself! To create the garland, I used lots of soft pine branches bunched in 4s, wired together and then attached to a thick twine. To attached the garland to our front door, we used the same clips used for hanging Christmas lights. I used additional pine branches to fill in any bare spaces and to hide any wires poking out to ensure the garland looked full. To complete the garland, I added brass globe string lights and feathered them in the pine branches. I wanted the porch to look welcoming and not too perfect!
To complete the porch, I added two small pine trees to each planter and some birch logs to either side.
And lastly, I made the wreath with a brass ring from our wedding and added some greenery and bells to it! Super simple and cute!
I hope this post inspires you to get creative and gives you some holiday decorating ideas!
