Hi Friends and Happy Monday!
Today, I’m sharing how I added some Valentine’s Day touches to our kitchen. I know not many of you decorate for Valentine’s Day…. BUT, I grew up with a super crafty mom, and we decorated for everything! Before I get started on my decor, make sure you check out Riley From Pearls and Lattes to see how she decorated her home Valentine’s Day.

To start, I don’t go to the dollar store and load up on all things red and pink, (no shame if you do) but find things that can be used in the home year-round.
This year I decided to decorate our kitchen, as it’s the most popular room in our home. To decorate this space, I didn’t buy a thing! I used all items that I already had.
To style this space, I started with two Valentine’s Day banners and hung them in the kitchen window. I then added some copper pieces to the kitchen cabinets and countertops. I like to use copper for both fall and v-day!
Next, I switched up our little cocktail area and added liquor that had hints of pink in it, like whiskey and rose.

Next, I added framed pieces to the countertop. I added one of our wedding photos in a pink frame and layered it with a larger framed heart print from Jillian Harris’s print shop.

To continue with the copper theme, I added a plant in a copper pot, as copper really pulls out pinks and red. Next, I added some string lights, a white sign with XOXO and finally, a ceramic pink bird. I also highlighted the Full Hearts cookbook as it’s very on trend.

And thats all friends! I hope you enjoyed my take on Valentine’s Day in the kitchen and inspires you to decorate a room in your home this V-Day!
