The day has finally come!! I’m sharing our master bathroom refresh with you. Ahh, this refresh was easy but difficult at the same time.. mostly due to the wallpaper. Although it looks beautiful, this wallpaper was so dang hard to install. It took Mike and I 3 days, mostly because we weren’t familiar with this type of wallpaper installation. Nonetheless, at the end we got the hang of it and my only complaint is that I wish we got the lines tighter (when the paper dries, the paper shrinks, leaving a small gap. However, we are super happy with how it looks!
To complete the refresh, we added wallpaper, new sconces, a pendant light, some brass hooks and wall art. Just by adding a few new touches, this space feels brand new!
To style the space, I added roses to my favourite vintage vase, more greens to a small vase, some Turkish hand towels, q-tips in a crystal cup, some crystal candleholders with white tapers and a tray for jewelry.
As for the lighting, I ordered the star pendant from Wayfair and the sconces from Amazon, which I was totally impressed with!
Before starting this master bath refresh, I contemplated replacing the vanity, painting the walls, changing all the faucets, hardware, etc. But, I wanted to work with the bigger things and change out the smaller things -which worked out perfectly. With the few changes that we did make, it has transformed beautifully while being budget friendly.
I hope this little refresh inspires you to get creative and update a space in your home!
